Throwing sessions

Whether you’re complete new to the pottery wheel or just want time to create some vessels, Charlotte’s 2 or 3-hour throwing sessions are a great way to get to grips with clay on the wheel.

During a 2 hour session you will be taking through how to centre your clay on the wheel and then how to throw pots step by step. During a 3 hour session you will also have the opportunity to add some colour and pattern your pots using some decorative slip techniques, like sgraffito and marbling.

What you need to know:

• Maximum of 4 students

• 2-hour throwing sessions: £70 per person

• 3-hour throwing session: £100 per person

• Price includes all materials, firings and refreshments

• All work will be dried, fired and ready to collect at a later date
